Attention those who want to do individuals:

In case you haven't noticed, the due date for applications is January 1st. It's normally February 1st, but for some reason they moved it up this year.

That's coming up quicker than you think, so make sure you send in your application on time!

Heeeeeyyyyyy you guard kids...

I'm doing tryouts for the junior guard the same days as the senior guard, but from 3 til 4. If you would like to come show them stuff, please stop by the middle school cafeteria at that time.

Call or email me if you have questions.

Mucho amor,
---Kati

Hey guys...I have some important news.

We were moved up a class in the MCGC.

It's a new class, called Michigan AAA. They are once again splitting the Michigan A class, and since we performed so well at Champs last season, we are in the higher class.

Do you guys realize what this means? All the hard work you've put forward is showing. Judges from all over the country recognized you as excellent, so much that you were promoted!!! That's AWESOME!!!!!

Just keep in mind, the competition will be tougher, so it means a LOT of hard work this winter. I know you guys will continue to amaze me, your parents, the audiences, the judges, and most importantly, yourselves.. We will talk about this more when we get together for winterguard, which I promise will be starting soon. I'll give you guys details as soon as I possibly can.

You guys are the best!!!!
Love,
Megan

You know what I like?

I like how, in spite of the drama and such, you guys still manage to pull it off and perform well. I was very happy watching you guys tonight. Good job and congrats on your 1.

Now it's all down hill from here. Let's start fresh with the winter guard season.

Much love,

Okay guys. I need help deciding on a name for the junior guard. I've come up with a few - let me know which one you like best:

Synthesis

Rapture

Genesis

Origin

Element

OR... if you have your own idea, post it here. Thanks a bunch.

Hola from Mexico!

Just wanted to tell you guys I thought of you today.

I was walking down the street here in Guanajuato, and one of the cars driving past had music blaring loudly.

"So what?" you say. Well, it's not the loud music that caught my attention. It was the particular song playing.

Metallica - No Leaf Clover

Blaring in the middle of frickin' Mexico. How about that?

Anyway, I miss you guys and hope things are going well with the show. I'll be back in plenty of time for band camp.

Mucha Amor,
---Kati
